What are the Asia Pacific Six Sigma Excellence Awards?

Open to any company, six sigma IQ’s Excellence Awards have been established to honour, recognise and celebrate Six Sigma projects that demonstrate true best practices.

And celebrating is exactly what you'll be doing if you win one of 2008's Asia Pacific Six Sigma Excellence Awards! The Winners and Honourable Mentions will be announced at the dazzling Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the 9th Asian Six Sigma Summit in Singapore on 24 June 2008.

What better way to grab the attention of your CEO! If you're looking for a way to captivate the minds of your senior management, or a way to motivate your team, look no further. And not only will they hear about it, but so will the rest of the business world! Winners will be highlighted and promoted across all six sigma IQ events and in the quality media across Asia Pacific and beyond.

To identify and assess your entries, six sigma IQ has assembled a prestigious group of Six Sigma experts and leaders. All renowned for their years of Six Sigma experience and leadership, this independent judging panel is ideally placed to pick out the shining stars of Six Sigma innovation.

So don't hesitate! The deadline for submissions is 16 May 2008. Once the judges have gone through the difficult process of selection, the top four entries in each category will be announced as finalists at the start of the year.

Who can enter?

You can! Whether you're a huge multinational corporation or an SME, a military barracks or a hospital, a small department or vast business unit; so long as your project has had a significant impact on your business, we want to hear from you. Six Sigma awards are open to Six Sigma projects in all countries.

How to enter for an award?

Entering couldn't be easier! This year you'll find the process smoother than ever before. There are only 3 simple steps between you and the chance to take home a prestigious Six Sigma Excellence Award.

So what are these 3 steps?

1) Pick your category (or categories!) and download and complete the application submission
2) Fill out one straightforward admin form

Rules regulations & procedures for entry submissions

To be considered for the Asia Pacific Six Sigma Excellence Awards 2007, your entry needs to meet the following requirements:

1) The entries must be received by 11.59 pm GMT, 16 May 2008 for inclusion in the Asian Six Sigma Summit awards presentation. We are unable to accept late entries. The contact person listed on the application submission form will be contacted via email upon receipt of your entry.
2) All entries must contain no more than 2 pages of word doc and 10 slides and follow the guidelines given in the application submission form.
3) The admin form must be complete and contain the signature of the entrant.
4) All applications must be made in English. For each category you wish to be considered, you must complete a specific category application.

All contents of each application are confidential. Each judge has signed a nondisclosure agreement and is required to return the entries to six sigma IQ when they are finished.
